New PhD Scholarships Available!
A PhD Scholarship in Reproductive Biology is available in 2008 for studies of the factors that regulate the establishment, activation, development, and growth of ovarian follicles in a range of animal models that alter gene activity, follicle supply, and the actions of estrogens in the fetal and postnatal ovary. Chief Investigators/Supervisors for this project are Prof Jock Findlay (Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research) and Assoc Prof Jeff Kerr (Anatomy & Developmental Biology, Monash University). A Montgomery Foundation PhD scholarship is available for a talented and highly motivated PhD scholar in the Uterine Biology Laboratory to work on a project examining the role of a newly identified gene in the interface between aging and cancer. Click here for further details
