Blue skies for cycling team

Blue skies smiled on the PHI cycling team as they rode 520kms in 24 hours for reproductive health research.

Marking its 3rd consecutive year, the annual Ride for Reproduction (R4R) relay gave PHI an opportunity to raise awareness of reproductive health and the importance of this significant research.

With 1 in 8 Australian couples having difficulty conceiving a child naturally and with 3 out of 4 IVF attempts failing, there’s a clear need for medical science to create new treatments and strategies to support a healthier start to life for Australian couples.

We’d like to thank our team sponsors Boom Logistics, Collins Simms, Ckaos Ink and Zouki for helping our team get out from the start line. A special thanks to all the supporters who sponsored individual cyclists, as well as attended our BINGO FUNdraiser earlier in March. Congratulations to the winners of our R4R Raffle; Mrs Joy Fair and Mr William Tran. We’d also like to thank Crittenden Estate Wines, Fred & Ginger Catering and the PHI Development Board for contributing to our wine night An Evening Of Excellence in April.

For wine enthusiasts, you can still order Crittenden Estate Wines’ sumptuous wines and contribute to reproductive health research. Thanks to Crittenden Estate Wines’ generosity a portion of sales will be donated to PHI

Congratulations to our top bidder, Mr Wayne Kelsey, who kindly outbid the room and even outbid himself to support PHI research and enjoy a Lakeside Villas and Stillwater experience at Crittenden Estate. Support has been inspiring for researchers and cyclists alike, with our interim total momentarily resting at $21,500.

If you know someone who is impacted by conditions of endometriosis, infertility and other reproductive health conditions, you’ll know how significant our research is.

You can still make a pledge and contribute to science for better life. For more information, please contact Jane Glatz on (03) 9594 4325
