PHI researchers excel at ESA Annual Scientific Meeting

PHI has cemented its reputation for excellence in the field of Endocrinology, with a group of its researchers named award winners at the Endocrine Society of Australia and Australian Paediatric Endocrine Group’s combined Annual Scientific meeting in Perth. The meeting, which ran from 28 – 31 August, saw the Institute walk away with six awards including the Novartis Junior Investigator and ESA Servier Awards.
Winning PHI researchers included:
- Dr Jun Yang, 2011 recipient of the Novartis Junior Investigator Award and the Women in Endocrinology Travel Award
- Dr Stefan Bagheri-Fam, 2011 recipient of the ESA Servier Award for the best scientific paper published in the 12 months prior to the closing date for Abstracts
- Dr Stacey Jamieson, Dr Kevin Knower and Dr Kristy Brown the 2011 recipients of the ESA/IPSEN International Travel Grants
